I live in the eastern us, near the woods. My grandmother does too. Around her yard, she has tons of squirrels. There's a strange one though. He's been there around two years. It has a body like a squirrel, but a tail like a raccoon. Also, it's face is raccoon-like, but small like a squirrel. What is it??? It gathers nuts, and LOVES bagels.

I have to do a breif presentation over Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, and unfortunatley it is way to complicated for me to understand. She gave us 2 days to research it and i dont know what im doing. What i would like from you guys, if you would be so kind, is a simple explanation, in your own words, so no plaguerizing is going on, as to what his uncertainty princple says. Also, a link to a webpage with a proof of his theory, and some of the problems with his theory. If any of you could provide me with any or all of these answer it would be so awesome!

I have to prove the following by method of contradiction:

Let p and q be positive integers with p a) Prove that q-p divides p-1 if and only if q-p divides q-1.
b) Let d be a common divisor of p-1 and q-1. Prove that d divides q-p.

I understand the concept behind proving if, then statements by contradiction (assume the "if..." and also assume the not "then..." then reach a contradiction) but I'm confused as to how to do it for an if and only if problem.

I look at Court TV and see the three psychics trying to find clues for people who are already dead and I still haven't seen a show where they helped solve a crime. Why don't they use their psychic abilities to find this girl. Then there is Sylvia Brown on Montel Williams, the psychic's on the Psychic Detective and Psychic Investigations on Court TV and A&E or Biology. Why don't they all ban together to find this child in case she is still alive. I see these nationally known child missing cases and wish I had psychic power to help find these kids. Is there any True Psychic out there who reads this that may know what happened to her. Please help if you can!!!!!

I do NOT understand this stuff!!

I can draw out the conversion tables, but it's figuring out WHAT to START with that I'm having a problem with.

For example:
A serum BUN reactivity was very high and required a dilution to complete the assay. If 100 microliters of serum was added to 0.5mL of dilutent but this was not adequate, so 200 microliters of the prior solution was added to 0.2mL of dilutent for the final assay. What is the dilution ratio of each dilution and the final dilution ratio?

Ugh...if I could just understand the language of what they are asking, I could figure this out. What are they asking me to do?
