inorganic chemistry is a highly developed practical science.it finds various application in industries
manufacture of soap,talcum powder,shampoo,tooth paste etc
rubber,plastics,medicines,acids:hydrochloric acid,sulphuric acid etc
perfumery,quality of food items etc can be computed only with the help of inorganic chemistry.

Look around you and you'll find lots of places it is important.
Pharmaceuticals is mostly organic chemistry but some inorganic chemistry there.
I would primarily think of batteries myself, every electronic device and vehicle needs those batteries to operate.
Every vehicle, bridge, or item that has ever rusted has suffered from a reaction explained by inorganic chemistry.
The list goes on and on but salts and metals are very common in today's society so just look around :)
