This is for a school project-

I need to find out professions that use each different branch of chemistry (organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, bio, and theoretical). They don't have to be strictly chemistry professions, just professions that use chemistry. Can anyone help me?

Three lab science courses are required in my state to graduate, so it's not like I wanted this class. In a few weeks we will be doing fetal pig dissections--something I am strongly, ethically against.

They can't force me to do it, can they? I wouldn't mind writing a twenty page essay on the subject, but I refuse to actually take part in this cruel practice. I would almost understand if the class was about eight students who were truly dedicated to science, but most of the kids won't use this information later in life and laugh at the creature who wasn't able to live.

Help?

I mean it can't be that hard to hook up the spinal column and a couple of blood vessels.

I may be morally interesting but hey if we can drop bombs which wipe out entire cities then we're obviously not worried to much about morals.

A particle moves along the x-axis in such a way that its position at time t greater than or equal to 0 is given by
x = (1/3) (t^3) - 3t^2 + 8t.

(a) Show that at time t = 0 the particle is moving to the right.

(b) Find all values of t for which the particle is moving to the left.

(c) What is the position of the particle at time t = 3?
ok is this part just asking for what (t,x) is when t=3?

(d) When t = 3, what is the total distance the particle has traveled?
ok so is this part asking for the distance between (0,0) and the answer from part (t,x) when t=3?
