I think this is a very interesting problem.

Let k be any positive integer. Show that there exists a positive integer n such that the first digits of 2^n are the digits of k. For example, if k = 2781, then there exists n such that the first 4 digits of 2^n, from the left to the right, are 2781.

I´ve seen a report on TV some years ago. It was about an island in eastern Canada. A deep and large shaft has been dug straight downwards into the ground there. I forgot too much of it. If I remember right, this shaft was estimated to be about two hundred years old.
Can someone tell me the name and location of that island? And did they find out a bit more about the origin of that shaft in the meanwhile, or is it still a big mystery?
Thank you in advance!

Gamma Rays are the most destructive force in the universe. They come from one place, not many! Scientists say about 10 billion light years away from us. Something sets them off and when the gamma rays burst, they go in all directions. The gamma ray bursts could very well be violating Einstein's E=MC2. What do you think?

I have a question that i think is very crazy, but i really can't think of how they do it... lol...

Before a space shuttle takes off the space shuttle is straight up and down pointing at the sky. This would cause the seats to have there back parallel to the ground... Correct??? If so how do the astronouts get to their seats??? I know its silly, but i walked by the tv at work earlier and saw the space shuttle that is taking off soon and just thought about that and noone at work knows how.

Hey there, have a little problem and was just wondering if anyone has/knows an explanation for it.

While speaking/typing, i always tend to occasionally misplace a word with a completely random word unknowingly. Is there some sort of medical explanation for this?
