Addition method? I assume you mean the normal way to solve them. You won't get a single answer.
First, gather like terms
(8x - 2.7x) +(-10y - 5y) = 13
do the arithmetic
5.3x - 15y = 13
That is as far as you can go to solve it. You can put values in for x and calculate values for y or do the same with y.
Have fun.
Or are these two simultaneous equations? word your questions better and set them out better if you want correct answers to the questions you ask.
How parochial can you get? Summer? Not here! Can't wait till it arrives, though.

7x-5y=13
14x-10y=26------ 1
Add 1 into 8x-10y=2
8x-10y+14x+10y=2+26
22x=28
x=11/14
Sub this back into 1
11-10y=26
y=-1 1/2

8x-10y=2
7x-5y=13
mulitply the bottom equation by -2
8x-10y=2
-14x+10y= -26
----------------------
add the equations going down
-6x=-24
x=4
8(4)-10y=2
32-10y=2
-10y=2-32
y=3

7x-5y=13
_________ multiplying the bottom by -2
8x-10y = 2
-14x+10y = -23
--------------------
equals --> 6x=-21 therefore x = -21/6 and substituting in ...y=2.3
