Preparation

1. Mix thoroughly about 5grams of potassium chlorate with one gram of Mn Dioxide in a watch glass. Transfer the mixture into the ignition/generator tube. Heat the generator tube slowly. Allow few bubbles to escape before collecting oxygen into the test tubes. fill atleast 3 test tubes and cover with cork under water.

Properties
1. Uncork 1 test tube of oxygen and then insert a glowing splint. Observe
2. Place a small amount of S in the deflagrating spoon. ignite sulfur and tilt it into a test tube of oxygen. Take note of the odor of gas produced and add 5ml of water into the test tube. shake and test the sol with blue and red litmus. observe

3. ignite one end of strip Mg Ribbon and drop it into a test tube of oxygen. cool the tube and add 5ml of water. shake the mixture and test it with litmus paper, observe.

B. Preparation
1. How is O2 gas collected? Why could this method be done?
Describe the physical properties of O2?

I'm not the best when it comes to math...........

When I go shopping and see the "sales" sign saying "75 %" off......how do I find the price to that

For example there are paire of boots that are 65 dollars and they are 75% off.

Can someone show me step by step to figure what the price will be if it is 75% off?

I'm going to be a junior this year and I need a couple of liberal arts/elective ideas (I have 2 more I'm required to take). I was going to take elementary italian but the class time was changed, making it impossible. Any suggestions from those with a good experience? Anything that would be indirectly helpful to an electrical engineer, or just fun (and hopefully easy) to take? Please don't hesitate to list multiple ideas.

F=GMm/(r^2), g=GM/(r^2), Gravitational potential energy= -GMm/r , gravitation potential= -GM/r.
With all these similar equations, how do you memorise it and apply it correctly when facing a physics question??? I get a bit confused whenever i see all the equations. I would like to ask the physics experts on ways to understand all these equations in a simpler way???
(i must say that i have not been coping well with this gravitational field topic in school due to its complicated equations)

I'm just beginning to work with derivatives, and I've only done problems that are "1 step," and by that I mean, it's only multiplication, only division, only addition, etc. I'm not sure how to do this 2-step one using the product rule. So can you please explain as thoroughly as possible with WHAT you're doing and WHY you're doing it? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
