I have a total of 1000 marbles, with 300 red, 600 blue, 100 green.

P(red marble) = 30%
P(blue marble) = 60%
P(green marble) = 10%

If I take a sample of 10 marbles..

What is the probability distribution of red marbles marbles? In other words, what is the expected value of getting 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 red marbles in the sample?

I don't need a list of the E(x) of 0-10, but please show work on how to do one or two examples.

I often sit and poner whether or not the Lunar landings actually occured. I am not one of those people who watch those TV shows and immediately think HOAX! But it's hard to believe that NASA would send man to a new front with hardly any experiments to ensure there safety.. I don't know much about the tests and experiments NASA did prior to these missions but to think of the safety issues involved with sending a man to the moon, and the likely hood for survival seems pretty low. How did NASA know that the spacesuits the astronauts wore were going to keep the astronauts warm on the moon. I truly believe man has landed on the moon.. I would just like to know some of the preperations NASA took for such an astronaumical safety risk.

How to create non-permanent join between two parts made of wood ?You can imagine your remote control battery place which is closed by a part that can be removed and put in place easily.However remote control is made by plastic.I want to create same scenario but with wood.Any idea to design the structure is really appreciated.It means two parts can be locked into place and can be removed easily whenever we like to get access to battery and switch inside.
