a. How many days will be required for plowing if a tractor and 10 hired hands will work together?

b. A tractor and 10 hired hands working together are expected to finish the job at a certain time as answered in the first problem. If the tractor and 10 hired hands worked together at first and then on the end of the second day, the tractor broke down, how many more workers are needed to be hired to finish the job on time?

velocity of a car using by evalulating definite integral?

a car moves along a straight road in such a way that its velocity at any time in t seconds is given by

v(t) = 3t√16-t^2
0≤t≤4
find the distance traveled by the car in 4 from t=0 to t=4

I have no idea what to do. In this chapter they list the properties of a definite integral and the average value of a function. I don't know what tool to use.

It is given that the complex number p = cos 3x + isin 3x while q = cos 4x + isin3x.?

Express the complex number p+q in x+iy and exponential form. Help!!! I can't work this out because the angle for q is differrent under sin and cos.

How do we get vitamin d from the sun?

I don't think the sun is shooting out particles of vitamin d so I guess the vitamin in produced in our skin cells, triggered by the absorption of the UV. Is that right or does the sun actually give off vitamin d?

Who's the best, T-Rex or Allosaurus?

The T-Rex has always been popular, especially with the Jurassic Park movies (and the T-Rex was NOT from that period. The Allosaurus was *LOL* ).

when travelling in airplane from east to west , what the effect of earth evolvoling from west to east.?

i want to to know when airplane traveling against earth direction movement, does it effect in in time, as earth is moving under the airolane i think therefore the speed will be the difference between the earth movement and the airplane movement.
