Found this big sucker in my garage, never seen one like this around here before. I live in the Interior of British Columbia, Canada.

Am fairly sure the insect is a member of the Orthoptera family. That is: crickets, grasshoppers, katydids, because the mouth parts are the same chewing type.
Segments on the antennae are the wrong type for the beetle(Coleoptera)family.. I would recommend sending your photo to what'sthatbug.com so the whole world can view the nice specimen.

Looks like a spined oak borer.

I dont know but it looks it jumps and it might just jump on u, so b careful!!!!

I think it is an Asian Long Horned beetle.
