I was sitting on my couch watching 'The Last Day of Summer' on Nick when I felt a worm crawling on my ankle. I brought it to my eyes. At first, I was freaked out because I thought I had worms, but I realized it was moving like a caterpiller, and it had many legs.

Description: It was small, 1/2-1 ich. It was clear and skinny.

Location: Southern California, south of LA. I'm not saying exacly where.

The lorentz transformations can be (probably invalidly) derived using simple algebra. The idea is to use the postulate that there is no "right" frame of reference, all are equally valid, to show that there is no contraction in the directions perpindicular to motion. Two equal sized (at rest) rings travel towards each other. If contraction occurs perpindicular to direction of motion, one ring becomes smaller and fits inside the other. That ring is at rest in its frame and sees the other ring as contracting and fitting inside of it. Why is that argument flawed (if it is) in proving that the direction perpindicular to motion doesnt contract and is a simple logical algebraic derivation based on that not mathematically sound even if it produces the correct transformations.

Around 3 I took some Dollar General brand head ache relief. It said on the front that it contains caffeine, acetaminophen, and asprin. About an hour later I began experiencing symtoms of a panic attack (heart racing,short-ness of breath, couldn't sit still, etc) I kept feeling this until I finally went to sleep around 9:30 and I just woke up about 15 minutes ago. I feel a little better but my heart still feels like its racing a little bit, and on top of that my headache is worse. Think I'm sensitive to caffeine or the aspirin?

Is there a meteor that can fly by earth that could shut down or temporally disable our technology?

Could anything even close to that happen?

if so...
How?
Does the size of the meteor matter?
Does it have to be giving off some sort of radiation?

My mind has been wondering and I've been thinking about this all day.

Any sort of information would help. I want to learn more about this type of thing.

Thanks. : )
