Practicaly playing with bar magnets I noticed that each pole had in itself a north and south pole, in asmuch for want of a better description if it were stood on end the force would be cascading down on all sides, so by looking at the right of the magnet, the force would be clockwise but to the left anticlockwise, is it anyway possible to direct all the force: say to the right or to the left

"the population of an endagered animal species is
f(x)=490(0.88)^t.
where 490 is the number of animals currently inthe population and t is the time in years. the population is decreasing at an annual rate of 12%.

so, i know the answer is 259 and i used the formula of 490e^rt but i ended up getting 268. what am i doing wrong?

Also, another equation..-7-6i, how do i figure that one out? I got as far as getting i=the square root of -1

When the storm comes, they name it right? But not always is it a girls name, but sometimes a guys. So, how can it be a hurricane? Should'nt it be hurricanes and himmacanes?
