I need to find the surface area and volume for each of these figures...

A cylinder with a diameter of 18m and with the height of 12m. On top of the cylinder is a cone that is also 12m high. I know the surface area of this one (1161m^2), but I'm having issues with the volume.

The next figure is a rectangular prism, with the depth (?) of 16cm and it is 30cm high. On top of it is a half-cylinder, with a given height of 10. I really struggled with this one... can anyone help?

I have a Babyliss and a Parlux hairdryer and they both flash blue when I turn the switches on. Is it normal? I was told by a friend that it is ok because electrical switches spark on the contacts on things which draw alot of current. Is this true? Are my hairdryers safe?

i know Russia is geographically Eastern, but is it culturally Western?

there are some nations in the world wherein they are eastern when it comes to location but western when it comes to culture. such as Australia.
Ethnic Russians are slavic not turkic. slavic then can trace their roots to the ancient Greeks, therefore slavic is western. ethnic Russians are culturally western.
am i correct??

A pyramid with base of 6x6 and slant height of 5. Volume? Surface area I know is 96yards squared.

"stairs". 7cm base, 1cm high, 1cm across. Right behind it 7cm base, 2cm highter than previous, 2cm across. Then a 7cm base that is 2cm higher than previous, with another across of 2cm. HOPING that made sense.... surface area? It's hard because they're all next to each other. What about volume?

what is it about the african environment that has made black people stronger? generally they have 20% more muscle than white people. why would a white person adapt to the european environment by having less muscle? it doesnt make sense to me. the same applies to asian people - who tend to have less muscle than whites and blacks. any explanations for this?
