Can you please recommend a book that gives extensive detail about the medicinal properties of common plants? I'm looking for something that would be useful for when I start a homestead, so it should be thorough and practical, but it's ok if it's also rather technical because I have a fairly solid understanding of anatomy/biology/medicine. A 0.200 kg plastic ball moves with a velocity of 0.30 m/s. It collides with a second plastic ball of mass of 0.100 kg, which is moving along the same line at a speed of 0.10 m/s. After the collision, both balls continue moving in the same, original direction. The speed of the 0.100 kg ball is 0.26 m/s. What is the new velocity of the 0.200 kg ball?

For triangle XYZ, point P divides XZ in the ratio 3:1 and Q is the midpoint of XY. If R is the point of intersection of PY and QZ, find the ratio into which R divides PY.

2. Relevant equations

This is the only equation that may pertain to this that I can think of.
For line segment APB, vector OP= b/(a+b) OA + a/(a+b) OB, where O is any point and and b are the ratios.


3. The attempt at a solution

I really need help, this is all i can come up with.

we are looking for PR:RY

RP=1/4 RX + 3/4 RZ
RQ=1/2 RX + 1/2 RY

and RP, RZ, RQ, AND RY are vectors

A ship, carrying freshwater to a desert island in the Caribbean, has a horizontal cross-sectional area of 2700 m^2 at the waterline. When unloaded, the ship rises 6.00 m higher in the sea. How much water was delivered?

There was an identical one in my book with a cross-sectional area of 2650 m^2 and the ship rose 8.5 m high. In which the answer was 2.44 x 10^7. However when i try to solve it i always get 2.25 x 10^7. Isn't it supposed to be 2650*8.5*1000? If not could someone show me what i'm doing wrong? Also, show steps and how you got to your answer. Thanks.
