What is the name of the small blood sucking mammal that looks like a mouse, and it runs with extreme speed?

You are probably thinking of a Shrew, although it does not "suck blood". Superficially they resemble a mouse, but actually are rather different anatomically (for example, its dentition is very different). It is not even in the taxonomic order (Rodentia) where mice are classified. They are the only mammals to have a venimous bite, (which feels similar to a wasp sting). Shrews are predatory carnivorous animals which readily kill and eat mice. Like other predatory mammals feeding on their mammal prey, they will lick at the blood of the wounds of their prey while eating, but do not "suck" the blood.
