I heard that sometimes there is a separate power plant that is built right next to the steel mill for the gas/heat byproducts that would otherwise be wasted. Is this true in the case of US steel mills? I am looking for a list of US steel mills that do this.

Say in the Future while traveling the stars we would take frozen water from Asteroids and other small objects in space since water is very hard to find out there except on planets. How would one go about purifying it or making it drinkable. Remember free floating objects in space without atmospheres are subject to high amounts of Radiation.

For every integer k from 1 to 10 inclusive, the kth term of a certain sequence is given by (-1)^(k+1) * (1/2^k). If T is the sum of the first 10 terms in the sequence, then T is:

A) greater than 2
B) between 1 and 2
C) between 1/2 and 1
D) between 1/4 and 1/2
E) less than 1/4

Is there a way to answer this without having to sub in all 10 values for k? I have less than 120 seconds to answer questions like this on the GMAT exam...

Thank you!

It was too far from the Twin Towers to suffer any structural damage, the fire inside Bldg 7 was small, Bldg 7 housed important offices like the NYC mayor's emergency command center, CIA and IRS offices, and the building collapsed STRAIGHT DOWN like it was a controlled demoltion.
If debris from the Twin Towers were responsible for the collapse of WTC 7, then wouldn't it have collapsed from the BASE of the building instead of from the top falling down like in a controlled demolition?
