yes I think you can find those mexican beans at some gift stores but I understand they are hard to find hold on let me see if ebay sell them yes they got them on ebay just type in "Mexican Jumping Beans" they are relay cool for children or even grown up. they are LIVE mexican juming beans nto sure how long the life are though probably only a month I would say. however I could be wrong.

Used to get them all the time as a kid. It's actually a little worm in the bean. One time, we accidently left them in a windowsill over the winter, though for sure they'd be dead, but they must have hibernated, or the window was warmer than we thought because they were ok when we got them out!

I've never herded a herd of Mexican jumping beans, but I used to get them all the time as a kid. After they died, we fed them to our venus flytrap...

Yea they sell them at like gas stations and random little stores. They jump because there is larva in the "bean".

Yes, I have. It's a bug larvae that is hatching. They use the inside of the bean/nut for nutrients while it developes.

I bought some for neices and nephews for Xmass, they were NOT interested in them.
When I was a kid I played with them for hours on end.
We didn't have Xbox or whatevr then. Slower times. I guess I was just bored. I remember when my dad bought a CALCULATOR. Wow, I was allowed to use it sometimes if I was really careful.

yep!!! I used to get them when I was little. They were so neat back then or so I thought. They really bugged my mom too when they jumped around in the plastic containers.
