Which is more beneficial-adding iron before attaining equillibrium or after?why?

Seedless oranges and all that ... how on earth can they happen because they need seeds to create more fruit.
I am baffled. Perhaps it is because I am a hungover GorgeousFluffpot that my brain is not working properly today, but please put me out of my misery and tell me the answer!!

I just finished watching the movie "Day After Tommorrow". I was wondering if people believed this would happen in the near future. I believe that some aspects may occur and some may not. For instance, the water rising and becoming frozen over (like in the movie). What are your views on the ice age occuring and will it be like the way Hollywood portrays it or not?

I saw that one of the ways scientists calculate the Universe's age is by seeing how far away they can see, then taking that distance in light years as the Universe's age. I saw that the farthest they can see is about 15 billion light years. My question is, doesn't that prove the universe is actually at least 30 billion years old.

If the universe is expanding, then it would take 15 billion years for the universe to get 15 billion light years big (assuming expantion at the speed of light) and then another period of time for objects to form out there, then another 15 billion light years for the light to get back?

I usually assume if smart people with more knowledge on a subject say something that to me seems obviously wrong, it is that I missed something subtle they know. So what am I missing? Could someone please help?

Seems the Aussies have the worst of everything...spiders, snakes, ants...yada. Why? It has to be something to do with the animals diet. Could it be the plants there? The way venom and poison work are usually through the animals diet. There is no doubt, Australia is one seriously mysterious place.
