if any way of comunication divides in three... emisor, canal and receptor so the tree make sound waves then the emisor ( tree) and canal ( waves ) are present can we say that the tree make a sound but the receptor is missing ? or that waves become sound only if a receptor is present ?? bottom line, does it make a sound??

ok so 2 things happend 2 me... 5 months ago i was sleeping over my friends house and it was about 4 in the morning and we were sleeping... all the sudden i wake up and some voice in my head was screaming shes stealing ur money so i turn around and look at my backpack and my friends mom was stealing my money from my backpack.. then last night i wake up caz i hear a thud on my wall, then the voice screams in my head its your phone its under ur bed . but i was like did i throw it in my sleep or something? so i look for it and i couldnt find it so i said outloud were is my phone? then my sister answers and says oh i threw it under ur bed... is that weird or what lol what would u call something like that?
