Ok, we've all heard that the Lion is the King of the jungle? How is that so? The Tiger's environment is more of a jungle compare to a Lion. The Lion hunts in packs, in the other hand, the Tiget hunt solo. Doesn't that make the Tiger the bettter beast, the King of the Jungle? Anyways, here is my question. If we should compare or have a competition between a Lion and a Tiger, who do you think would come out on top? Considering their special characteristics such as stregnth, stealth, etc,,, who would you vote as the real King of the Jungle?

I'm in my first year of university and I'm taking Linear Algebra starting in January. It's only a 3 credit hour course, only runs until the end of March. I'm just wondering how other people have found it...are the concepts difficult to understand, is it confusing? I took pre-calculus all throughout high school and did well in it- high 80s-90% all throughout. I'm kind of concerned about how I'll do in this class, I just want to know how other people have found it.

Can someone please thoroughly explain what a combustion reaction is? I understand the other reactions and how to balance them but not combustion. For instance....How would you balance
C(10)H(8)+12O(2) or CH(2)S+6f(2)

Keep in mind the numbers in parantheses are supposed to be on the right bottom side of each element.

PLEASE HELP! I HAVE A FINAL TOMORROW AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND COMBUSTION!

Please and thank you in advance.

A child in a boat throws a 6.00 kg package out horizontally with a speed of 13.0 m/s, Fig. 7-28. Calculate the velocity of the boat immediately after, assuming it was initially at rest. The mass of the child is 28.0 kg and that of the boat is 50.0 kg.

I could find the velocity if I had the time interval, but I dont. But there is no time interval....how can I find it?
