It depends on the way space shuttle do. If it's on space, it needs less power to fly than its take-off.

WOW! that's more horsepower than a Harley!!! Yes, it is mind boggling. Many people have trouble just getting their heads around the concept of a million, let alone 37 of them! I wonder what will happen when we can achieve the thrust of a billion horse-power...Maybe interstellar travel? Thanks for the info!
