How would you solve sqrt(4i + 3) in the form a + bi? I haven't been exposed enough to complex numbers to know how to solve it.

Let's say I have a sequence of numbers simpilar to this: 1, 2, 5, 3, 34, 5, 7, 11, 22, 45, 56. How can I figure out what would be the next number? I guess I will firstly have to figure out some general idea about (or a general pattern or a principle of) the nature of the development hidden behind these numbers, and then, based on that principle, figure out the next possible number. But how?

Ahhh I'm dying here:

The equilibrium constant for the reaction
2Fe3+(aq) + Hg22+(aq) <=> 2Fe2+(aq) + 2Hg2+(aq)
is Kc = 9.1×10-6 at 25.0°C.
What is DGo at this temperature?

Thanks so much :)

For the gaseous reaction of xenon and fluorine to form xenon hexaflouride:
Calculate DSo at 298 K (DH = -402.0 kJ/mol and DGo = -280.0 kJ/mol).
Enter units as J/K/mol.

ACK! Finals on SAT! Thanks for the help.......

We have a 10% aqueous solution and have to replace it. However, I can only find the solution in 0.01N, 0.025N, 0.0375N, 0.1N and 1.0N. Which one is the right one? and Why?

Without referring to tabulated thermodynamic information, predict the sign of DSsysfor each of the following processes. (For each statement select P-Positive, or N-Negative. Then enter all 6 correct letters, in order: PPNNPN, for example.)

1. NH3(g) + HBr(g) -> NH4Br(s)
2. NaClO3(s) -> Na+(aq) + ClO3-(aq)
3. D) 2NO2(g) -> N2O4(g)
4. E) CaCO3(s) + 2HCl(aq) -> CaCl2(aq) + H2O(l) + CO2(g)
5. F) 2KClO3(s) -> 2KCl(s) + 3O2(g)

Thanks for the help! :)

I will be in Houston for a week after Christmas and I was just wondering if the shuttle was going to be landing there and within that time frame. I figure that would be a pretty cool thing to see. Any information you might have about when this shuttle is coming back to Earth will be appreciated! Thanks
