How come humans are the only one in the animal kingdom to associate tears with emotions?

I think it's a really stupid and ignorant conclusion but I hear it all the time. What is this opinion based on? Wishful thinking. There is zero evidence to support this. imposing our own moral ideals upon utterly alien beings is an attempt at deifying them. All life on earth shares many characteristics in common. Therefore we can find some evidence of the complete opposite. Humanity is not becoming more peaceful and morally superior over time. Our weapons and use of them has if anything grown and there is no longer any honour in war. Hundreds of thousands of people can die at the touch of a button.

Why would a more intelligent species or one more technically advanced want to show any interest in our welfare? Thats crazy thinking. We use Dolphins in Japanese Restaurants, to entertain us at Sea World and plant mines on enemy ships. We give deadly viruses to Chimpanzee's to see if we can cure them or not. We destroy their habitat without concern. Most Alien societies will be like us.

What is the maximum distance those types of signalers work and what type of wave to they transmit, infrared? I have an idea for a pay-at-the-pump type swipe device but it would be a click button type thing instead, but wondering if that technology would allow for just one receiver within the station building instead of receivers at each pump as is with current 'swipe' type pay keychain fobs

so the question is how does that car alarm tech work - because current car keyfobs are not "random" enough (ex. one may find their remote operates another car, although the key probably wouldn't) the encryption would have to be more specific than current car alarm type

and what is the maximum distance those types of receiver systems can cover? and what about obstructions/reception issues>

thanks

a small source of sound radiates energy equally in all directions at a particular frequency the intensity of sound 1.0m from the source is 1 raise to power -5 W/M2 corresponding to an amplitude of oscillation of the air molecules of 70 micrometer.assuming sound is propagated without energy loss
what will be
the intensity of sound
the amplitude of oscillation of the air molecule at a distance of 5.0m from the source.
Q2
a point source of sound radiates energy uniformally in all directions .at a distance of 3m from the source the amplitude of vibration of air molecule is 1 raise to power -7.assuming no energy is absorbed .calculate the amplitude of vibration 5m from the source
answer:
Q1:a:4 raise to power -7 W/M2
b:14micrometer
Q2 6 raise to power -8 m
plz solve these i could not solve them

Please help me with these two problems, there pretty easy, I'm just over complicating things to the point I don't know what to do now. Thanks for helping!

A radioactive substance is decaying so that the number of grams present after "t" days is given by the function A(t)=2000e^ -.02t
(the above function is A(t)=2000e to the power of negative .02t ... Just wanted to clear that up)

a. Find the amount of the substance, to the nearest tenth of a gram, present after 30 days.

b. Find the half-life of the substance

Is anybody, other than me, getting a "Day After Tomorrow" feeling from the weather?

If you want proof to unusual weather, look at the news. The weather in Moscow is so hot, bears won't hibernate, tornadoes and flash floods in the north coast of the U.S. I even found a report of icebergs, in New Zealand!
