Is anybody, other than me, getting a "Day After Tomorrow" feeling from the weather?

If you want proof to unusual weather, look at the news. The weather in Moscow is so hot, bears won't hibernate, tornadoes and flash floods in the north coast of the U.S. I even found a report of icebergs, in New Zealand!

The earth goes through cycles of changing weather and historical analyses have shown that almost nothing we've seen in this lifetime can hold a candle to large climatic or geologic events in the past, some before the time of homo sapiens - we haven't been around for very long, you know.

Everybody has something of what you speak. Wherever we go people are talkiing about the changes in the weather. We all can feel the changes and most people are anxioous about it.
