I know the motivation would be there. Many of us would want to recreate the dog. But would it actually be possible, do you think, to do so given the conditions, social, economic, geographic, environmental, etc. of the modern world?

When scientists explain gravity like a ball sitting on a blanket and space forms a pit around it, shouldent that be incorrect. Isn't gravity all around earth and not just on a single plain? If this is so then the image that is generaly presented should be much more different.

I'm 30 and have recently noticed hairs around the ears have gone grey. I am horrified because when I was young I thought people only started to turn grey in their 40's. Please only answer if you are scientifically qualified and do not mention shock, genetics, or "women find it attractive"

I have a question I have been working on for a while about a the earth and the moon. I am supposed to find the total acceleration caused by the earth and moon at a certain point. I am given the mass of earth (5.98x10^24 kg) and the mass of the moon (7.36x10^22). The earth, moon and the point make up a triangle. The distance from earth to the moon is 3.84x10^8 m and the moon to the point is 1.48x10^8 m and the distance from the point to earth is 3.54x10^8 m. Also I have to find the magnitude of acceleration at this point. The last part is What is the total gravitational force on a spacecraft and the point? The mass of the spacecraft is 1200kg . What is the magnitude of the total gravitational force on the spacecraft.

If anyone can even steer me in the right direction it would help a lot...Thanks.

I don't mean pets that can find John 3:16 in a Bible or similar circus tricks.

I mean... we know that many species have complex social behaviour, with apparently rich communication, social ordering, even recreational sex.

So have any animals evolved anything that we would regard as religious behaviour? Do they even gaze up at the stars and wonder? Could we detect even this behaviour if it does happen? If it doesn't happen, why not?

There are similarities b/n a computer virus and human virus. A computer virus can spread from computer to computer, just as a flu, for instance, can spread from person to person. A computer virus can lie in a computer without being active, just as a person can have a virus and not be aware of it. A human virus is a string of coded information surrounded by proteins. A computer virus is also coded information, stored by electricity.
