Okay, my fears are few and far between but this spider scares me because they keep showing up in strangely populated areas. I think I would feel better if I could figure out what it is but I cannot. Please let me know if you can tell what this is? Alright, description time, this particular source of arachnophobia is huge for a native to Portland, OR. The body is about an inch long, legs that are half the length of the body and thick. It has what looks like fangs or sensors that are coming out of the head section. It's all brown with no discernible change in coloration. I killed the last two but if I see another one, I will try to take a picture for you all...before I get the nerve up to smash it. Thanks for shedding any light on this that you can.

I realize jobs will be different depending on other factors, ex where you work, how long. I really enjoy studying chemistry, but I've noticed there are a lot more jobs available for chemical engineers than for chemists. I'm just trying to get a feel for things.
