Number of times the car ran out of petrol. (More detail given)?
A car ride uses a mean of 7 litres of petrol with a standard deviation of 0.5 litres. Assuming that the amount of petrol used is normally distributed.

i) If the car usually has only 8 litres in its tank, how many times in next 1000 rides will the car ran out of petrol?

After calculation answer comes to 22.8 times. Now should the answer be 22 times or 23 times. My assumption is 22 times as the 23rd time due not occur.

If we continously change time every fall and spring, and it gets old changing most of your clocks why not just leave it alone since the time will catch up to itself 6-7 months later. Does Alaska change their times depending on sunlight, NO.

Do you think we will actually have a base on the moon in the near future?

I feel if are going to ever explore our solar system the moon would be the best place to start.

What we could learn there would mirror what we could expect on other planets and moons, we'd learn what does and doesn't work in such a situation.
