i have a 12 volt solar panel charging system and would like to attempt to make a wind generator from available parts, need some advice?????

One part of it I can help you with is the generator. You can turn any electric motor into an electric generator by changing around the taps (wiring) coming off of the coils.
Then your windmill will spin the shaft and produce electricity through the leads you'd normally tie power to.

A motor repair shop could probably change the leads around for you in just a few minutes, its normally not that hard.

I would start with an automotive alternator and a small windmill connected to an RV type slow drain battery
