I need to know why is "x" the most commonly used variable in mathematics.
I tried looking it up by websearch. But it just wont work.

x is a positive integer. If the rightmost digit of x is moved to the leftmost position (for example 1234 would become 4123), the new integer is exactly 2x. As you might expect, there are an infinite number of integers with this property. What is the smallest one?

Then use the point-slope form of the equation to write the slope-intercept form. Passing through (3, 4) and (2, 1).

I am having a hard time, still, doing the equation to find the point slope form. What can I do to make this understanable?
