A

4 sides = 8-3-3 = 2
4 sides = sqrt(3^2+3^2) = 3sqrt(2)

B

8-2x = sqrt(2x^2)
64-32x+4x^2 = 2x^2
x^2 - 32x +64 = 0

x = 8 + 4sqrt(2) or 8 - 4sqrt(2); since x cannot be larger than 8

x = 8-4sqrt(2)
