Then use the point-slope form of the equation to write the slope-intercept form. Passing through (3, 4) and (2, 1).

I am having a hard time, still, doing the equation to find the point slope form. What can I do to make this understanable?

Slope = (4 - 1)/(3 - 2) = 3/1 = 3
The line also passes through points (3,4) and (2,1).
Thus the point slope form is
(A) Either (y - 4) = 3(x - 3)
(B) Or (y - 1) = 3(x - 2)

Look both (A) and (B) gives same answer which is 3x - y = 5.

the slope is 3/1, start at either point go down 4 to the left once and u should be able to hit the other point if u keep doing

(3,4) and (2,1)
m = (1 - 4)/(2 - 3)
m = (-3)/(-1)
m = 3

y - 4 = 3(x - 3)
