I need to find the antiderivative of f(x) = e ^ (-3x) Step by step help in solving this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! ALSO:
What if I need to find the antiderivative of a constant, say f(x) = 3?

A pendulum is swinging...now as time elapses from it's initial release, the strides taken by the pendulum decrease in length...is speed effected...or is time between the force of the release and the swinging only a factor w/ the length of the stride of the swinging pendulum?

I had an aluminum slug that I measured the mass of as 8.669g.

The length was 2.8cm

The diameter was .950 cm

The volume (using a volumetric cylinder) was 3.5cm^3^. We are supposed to do a calculated volume using (pi*r^2*h) also..but when I do it with the formula, it doesn't come out the same both ways. I think I'm following everything, but it's just not coming close to being equal. Am I doing something wrong, or did we (more than likely) not measure something right?

Alright, I'm studying for a test I have tomorrow and had a little question about the half angle formula.

In my textbook there is a section of questions with the directions: "Use the half-angle identities to find the exact values in problems 25-29"

the problems are as listed
25. cos^2(pi/3)
26. sin^2(pi/6)
27. sin^3(pi/6)
28. cos^2(pi/12)
29. sin^2(pi/8)

I know what the half angle formulas are (sin(x/2) = +/- sqrt((1-cosx)/2), etc. But I have trouble applying it. I don't know how to apply it regularly especially to numbers like pi/12 that don't have answers derived from the unit circle. I'm especially lost on what to do w/ the whole exponent in this set of questions. If someone can help me out, then I owe them. Thanks

I just started taking calculus and the other day my teacher drew a graph of a curve on the board that intersected the x axis. He asked the class what the limit would be as x approaches 0. I was alittle confused by this because I don't understand how there can be a limit as x approaches 0 when the line itself actually goes through 0 and is therefore not approaching 0. Can someone please explain? Thanks.

I am in high school honors level biology I and I have to do a major project (very similar to ones for science fairs). My project is: I will be putting McDonald's french fries (which have a lot of fat and artificial preservatives) and home-made french fries (i will cut up potatoes and fry them in oil) in two jars. I will seal the jars and leave them in the same conditions. For my project, I want to see that things with a lot of fake preservatives and fat have a SLOWER DECOMPOSITION rate than all natural products. For this project, one would assume that I could just look at the fries every one in a while and see which looks the most decomposed. However, that is not specific and "scientific" enough.

I need help finding out how to see which fries decompose faster/more. i need good ways to measure the rate of decompostion.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! good ideas only. (please dont waste my time with foolish responses).

thanks sooo much.
look forward to hearing from anyone soon
