to get your answer, multiply 7/16 by 20/20. Then multiply 11/20 by 16/16. If you did this correctly, the answer will be obvious!
take .7 and write it as a fraction (7/10 or 70/100) and compare it to 77/100. Which is greater?
again, write.18 as a fraction (18/100) and compare it to 3/50 (multiply 3/50 by 2/2 = 6/100).
Your answers?
11/20 > 7/16
77/10 > .7
.18 > 3/50
Remember! If you do the math YOURSELF, then you KNOW if the answer is correct or not. :)

If you just look at 7 over 16 you can see that it is less than hald. If you look at 11 over 20 it is more than half so the answer too this is easy. If you were putting it into a calculator for the anser you would put it as follows:
7
divide
16
=
and it would give you 0.375
11
divide
20
=
0.55
When you look at 0.7 remember that if it is 0. anything it is less than the number 1. In this case they are both less than one but presented in different ways 0.7 = 0.7 over 1 which is the same value as 7 over 10 which is the same value as 70 over100 so 77 over 100 is larger.
=
