Im curious what the hardest classes you are taking are, im guessing Chemistry for the most of you. Are classes hard once you get accepted in the school, ive heard the hardest part is getting accepted and after that the classes arent nearly that bad.

For the people that got accepted, what was your gpa? Im trying to keep mine as high as I can, around a 3.5 sometimes I have to drop classes that I have a borderline B in because im afriad ill get a B in it and my univerisity wont let you retake a class if you got a B in it. so if I drop it I retake it and I can get an A easier because I already took the class and did well.

Anyways im really curious about the people who already got in, if you had done anything special to help you get in. I have heard its good to work at a pharmacy as a tech, but I simply cant do it right now, with Chemistry I have like the hardest chem teacher ever, I study way more then I should have to for his class...

I've noticed this year that there hasn't been many flying around at all, normally there's loads of them. Is there a reason for this? Habitat destruction, lack of natural food, disease, etc.

I anticipate the purile breast jokes, so don't even think about it.

I have to take 2 classes of physics within the next year or 2. Im in pre pharmacy program. Im just curious what people think ive never taken a physics class, Im taking chemistry right now and organic chem soon and its torture. I already took calculus, in which I receieved a high B, but I have trouble with the word problems in calculus or I would have gotten an easy A. Im good at Biology, im not bad at chemistry it just takes awhile to get some things, im good at math other then word problems. the courses are Physics I and Physics II.

Im not looking forward to taking them because I think they will have a lot of word problems..

Fingerprints of the Gods, by Graeme Hancock, is a fantastic book detailing the probability of an advanced civilization 13,000 years ago, before a cataclysm wiped them out. Traces are found in our "ancient" civilizations such as the aztecs, who have determined when the next cataclysm will destroy our civilization. I'm not going to mention the date, but it's within the next decade, and if you've read the book you'll know what i'm talking about.

Please can someone reassure me that it's not true, that it's all just probability gained from making educated guesses about our ancesters and not based on fact?

And is there a book out there that totally proves Hancock was jumping to conclusions??
