at present there are 118 elements discovered .. so 7 th group is incomplete . s'pose some more elements are discovered will they be placed in 7th group itself or will they be another seprate group for it?

As long as I know, elements are placed in the periodic table for a reason. They´re placed according to their characteristics. So I think it will depend on the characteristics of the new element to know where it should be placed.

if we are to follow what Berzelius done, i think the best way to group the new discovered/invented elements is based on their physical and chemical properties. we all know as a chemist that the elements in the periodic table are arranged as such. so basically, what the group of the incoming elements will be based on their physical and chemical properties

From what i can remember, the heavier the element the more reactive it is (or even radioactive) and therefore less likely to be produced in its native state. No doubt more elements exist but are too unstable to have been "discovered"...

nuthing like that.the new elements ll be placed in the group which agrees with their physical and chemical properties.an elememnt sumwat similar 2 c with many of its properties is likely 2 be in the same grup r period
