My eyes change from green to blue to grey and colours in between. I also tend to have a yellow ring around the pupil sometimes. Does anyone know what the technical term for this changing of eye colour is? I have other relatives that happens to have the same thing. Is it genetic? I think that sometimes it is caused by the weather and sometimes my mood and sometimes by what colour I am wearing. I know that the light in a room affects my eyes and they are very sensitive and I suffer from migraines but my eyes change very frequently depending on a lot of different factors. I am not talking about just minor changes either. I am talking about changes that are very noticeable. One time they were in the middle of changing and were half one colour and half another. Other times they are green or grey with a yellow line that is not perfectly circular going around the pupil and sort of in the middle of the coloured area of the eye. I hope someone can answer this question for me.

All these wars going on in the world - people getting killed every single day - has any nation or person managed to develop shield technology - somethings in sci fi have been achieved in reality - what about this one - shields - if you could develop a technology that would repell the bullet or bomb then you wouldn't need to defend yourself by attacking someone before that can attack you ! Is it coming soon? Is it in development now? Because it can't come soon enough - to prevent all this carnage !

pdf(x)=1/(x ln(1.5)) for 4<=x<=6, pdf(x)=0 elsewhere.

Trying to find the median, which is supposed to be F(x)=.5. F(x) (as far as I know) is the integral of f(x), so in this case, is ln(x)/ln(1.5). When I solve ln(x)/ln(1.5)=.5 though, I get 1.2247, which is outside the range of possible values (4 to 6).

What have I done wrong? And did whatever I did wrong affect my attempt to find expected value (I got 4.93, which I think is correct)?

"Determine the number of (real) solutions. Solve for the intersection points exactly if possible and estimate the points if necessary."

I've graphed it and found that it has no real solutions, but I'm not sure how to find that algebraically

I should remember this from highschool but I don't. I can't learn from the book because I can't ask the book questions. I make math waaaay harder than it actually is. So hopefully someone here can help me get it to click in my brain, then all will be well.
