September 22 or 23, whenever the Sun crosses the celestial equator in the sky and goes in the southern celestial hemisphere.
But this is misleading. As far as the Sun is concerned, this is not the beginning of autumn; it is the MIDDLE of autumn. Summer ended on August 4 or so, when the days got perceptively shorter and shorter. Winter begins shortly after Halloween, when the days are so dismally short.
As far as the weather is concerned, this date is not precisely determined and is dependent on the location. Where I live, I estimate that the last day of summer is around September 10. After that, the summer heat abates and it starts getting cooler.

Summer is a season that is astronomically defined as beginning around June 21, and ending around September 21 in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere, summer begins around December 21 and ends around March 21. Summer is defined by convention in meteorology as the whole months of June, July, and August, in the Northern Hemisphere, and the whole months of December, January, and February, in the Southern Hemisphere.

When you finally lose your virginity to the new hot girl that came into town at the beginning of summer. Beers will probably be had, you will be nervous, and a Blink 182 song will probably kick off the party. The experience will change you, and you will now be a man. You will go into your senior year a little bit older, a little bit wiser, and most importantly....not a virgin.
