Let f(x) = a sub n x^n + a sub n-1 x^n-1 +...+ a sub 2 x^2 + a sub 1 x + a sub 0

and

g(x) = b sub k x^k + b sub k-1 x ^k-1 + ... + b sub 2 x^2 + b sub 1 x + b sub 0 .

sub=subscript

n and k are whole numbers. All of the coefficients are real and the lead coefficients (the coefficients of the highest powers) are positive.

Then if n > k, lim f(x)/g(x) =
.... x=>oo

I have to chose from

... a sub n / b sub k
... a sub 0 / b sub 0
... oo
... 0

or is it none of these

= x^2 + 3, if x < 0
= 0, if x = 0
f(x) = x^2 - 3 if 0 < x < 2
= 1 if x = 2
= x^3 - 7 if 2 < x.

Then lim ... f(x) =
x=>0+

black pepper tree from Vietnam. The fruits which consist in green berries containing in turns black berries, really seem those of pepper but there is a great difference between this plant and those I could find out on the Internet: this plant has big thorns, and there are thorns on both sides of leaves too. At this point I ask myself if this really is a black pepper tree. Is there someone from Asia or other countries of course, able to give me an answer?

Checking my work on my statistics stuff...

You're an insurance agent, selling insurance: $1000 policies against occurence B. B happens to 2% of the people owning the policy, historically. There's a $20 administrative fee for each policy sold.

How much does each policy have to cost to make a $100 profit on each?

Here's basically what I did:
P=profit, n=number of policies, p=price per policy, P/n=profit per policy

P=np-20n-(1000n*.02)
P=np-40n
P/n=p-40
100=p-40
p=140

Is that about right?

It seems that there is much less oil south of the equator. Could someone please give me a scientific explanation for this. Why are the reserves concentrated in the North? Is the Southern oil simply under the ocean, and if so, why does no one talk about it?
