in a billion years or so when humans have died out what animal do you think will evolve to take our place and rule the world?

squids...

this is no joke. Next to humans, squids have the most complex brains out there. The squid brain is capable of controlling millions of pigment cells simultaneously. The flashing colors are thought to many to be some form of lower communication. Squids have existed way before humans and will be here way after wards. According to evolutionist scientist, squids will be the next big thing

Most, if not all animal species, become extinct. We are an animal. We will probably become extinct. I doubt it will take a billion years. The first appearance of animals with hard shells "only" occurred around 570 million years ago.

Why does it have to be a newly evolved species? Who says we rule the planet? Never before has a single species had such an impact, and it may not happen again.

who says humans will die out. and if we did, "Ruling" is a human deal that would die with us.
