Assuming everything is energy, everything that is created takes form in energy (thoughts/ideas, but also materialized things like a wooden table). Can the non-materialized creations(thoughts/ideas) be changed, or are they also, like materialized things, "out there." This would mean thoughts/ideas put into the world, stay in the energy field of the earth. Can this only be "changed" by creating "opposing" ideas/thoughts?

I come from a tribe called the Mi'kmaq tribe aka micmac indians. Anyways I'm curious what per centage of the world population do we make up in this world and how does one figure out such a stat?

According to consensus stats, there are currently approximately 40,000 Mi'kmaq people that still occupy canada and the usa. Concensus a little over 100 years ago showed our tribe was down to 800 but contested by other stats (our own tribal estimates) and we believe the actual number was about 4000. I have been told our population quadriples every 20 years, if this is so, how long with it take for our tribe to reach 1 million? Thank you in advance

My Question has to do with large engine design. I am aware that violent reactions take place when Oxygen and hydrocarbons combine. It doesn't seem that anything is being done to capatilize on this. I was a liquid oxygen handler a long time ago, we had a 50 gallon container leak on asphalt and cause a crater. The energy release/explosion started from a few drops of liquid.
It seems that a very large piston, some crude oil and some Oxygen injected would create some awesome energy for a small amount of fuel, not to mention, pretty cheaply.

Creationists are always saying that nothing in the universe is possible without a creator. Well then who created the creator? By creationist standards, if your answer is he created himself, then he doesn't exist because there would at somepoint have to have been someone who was no created. And if there was someone who was simply not created, but created himself, why would it be so hard to believe that life just occured?

Two star appear in an otherwise empty void exactly ten light-years apart. An observer on each star would only know the existence of their star until ten years later when they finally see the light of the other star in their skies. Since these stars have mass, then they also have gravity. The gravity of these two stars would interact with each other and create an attractive force.

Though it takes ten years to see light from the other star, would not the gravity of each star reach to the other's instantaneously? In other words, the reaction of mass at a distance (gravity) occurs at infinite speeds.

Hope I have stated this clearly enough...just one of my ponderings for today.

I guess it was always my understanding that even though waves, such as electromagnetic and gravitational waves, propagate at the speed of light, the reaction of mass at a distance was instantaneous.

Hope someone out there can set be in the right direction.

Suppose a car is travelling at a constant speed in a straight line, with its windows open. Now someone fires a bullet from a gun (purely for science) perpendicular to the cars motion, such that the bullet goes through the open window of the car, through the car and out of the other open window on the other side. Assuming the bullet can travel fast enough does the bullet travel in a straight line (relative to an observer firing the gun) or does the bullet travel with the car as it goes through the car and then on its own as it leaves the car through the open window. Meaning does the bullet "enter" the frame of reference of the car for the brief time that it goes through it, and does it "return" to its own frame when leaving the moving car.

Doppler,s effect which is base for the theory of universe expending, tell us that if source of wave and observer start motion away from one another.then there will be no constant quantity(wave lenght, frequency, speed)of sourace.
while on other hand theory of relativity tell us that Speed of light in vaccume is universal constant and does not depend upon relative motion of observer
So if we carry the source of wave(light) in vaccumeand also a observerand they start motion away from one another then according to Doppler,s effect the speed of wave(light here)is not constant while theory of relativity tell us that speed of light will be constant
So which theory will be correct?????????????
