I saw an episode on NOVA about time travel, real scientists are actually doing research about this. The particular method of time travel they were speaking of only allowed for the ability to travel back as far as the original creation of the "time machine" though, I'm not sure if that meant if I made one today in future I can only travel back to today, or if its any time between the future and today.

Also supposedly if you travel faster than the speed of light (which as far as anyone knows is undisputedly impossible) you will go back in time.

In order to time travel, we have to beat the speed of time. Current existing technology do not have the ability to do so, but just because it is not possible now does not mean that it is an impossibility. With more and more advanced technology and better understanding of the cosmos, for all we know it may become a reality one day.

According to quantum physics and string theory it is possible, the problem is there is no way to manipulate the universe in that fashion. Like faster-than-light travel, theoretically it is possible, but very improbable we will ever find a way to do it.

Hello?!?!?!!?!? Earth to you!?!?!? Are u crazy!? This is reality! If it's possible I would travel back when I was a young girl! More happy moments! Oh btw if u found the solution to travel back in time, tell me. I might be surprise.

hi.good question,,,,YES
Time travel is possible when u get speed more than speed of light, but in present time to get speed of light is not possible,
when u get speed of light then light rays focus on ur retina in past will again focus on ur retina once again, becoz U will approach them after some time,,,be happy and if u really wana to change ur present into past then try to get speed more then light,,,,,,

Humans have only a vague perception of time. We have absolutely no ability to manipulate time in any fashion.

Yes. Just ask Chronos (ancient Greek god of time) to send you somewhere. (He was a Titan.) Κρωνωσ
