Where in the SW can I find someone to re-silver a very old 6" telescope lens. Focus 49 f/8.1 pyrex glass.

The telescope is homemade and the lense was ground by H Wildey in Oct 1955.

I tend to agree that you can probably buy a 6" lens for the price of recoating.

You say lens, but if it needs re-silvering it sounds more likely to be a mirror, especially with a F8.1 focal length. If you are in UK (sounds like it), then I have found this website, but have no experience using them.
