I know the Government has tried to switch us over in the past, but it (obviously) failed. Do you think the US will ever get off the English system? What are the benifits of being on it?

In the sauna where I go there's a timer, basically a large egg timer screwed to the wall so that it pivots about the centre. When you go in, you turn it round so that the full chamber is at the top, and the sand starts to flow.

Question is: if I don't turn it round fully, if I leave it slightly at an angle to the vertical, how much longer will I end up spending in the sauna?

You have to forgive me for this one - it's a municipal sauna and I get REALLY bored in there

I enjoy watching sky @ night. And from d past 2 days, i've been observing strange shooting star like fragments after a definite period of time. say after 5 mins. yesterday i observed 4 such fragments in 15 mins. n today i saw 7 in 30 mins.
I've seen shooting stars lot many times and i m sure that these r not shooting stars but something else. Wat these cud be? Has anyone else also observed such phenomenon?

I want to make a sun, or rather a small star. I checked out astrophysics and it seemed to help, the only problem now is execution. How do I manufacture a star with moderate resources, and only things you can find or obtain from our solar system.
