There is a certain type of bacteria that infects one type of wasp and fruitflies, that changes the males to females. They then become asexual, not needing the males any more. I find this to be quite fascinating.

The most interesting thing I've learn in life is that people never really grow up - we are all kids inside until the day we die. The toys we play with change over the course of a life time, and responsibilities that we have as adults dictate the amount of time we can enjoy them, but ultimately, in our hearts...we are children forever.

The most interesting thing...
I guess I would have to say being introduced to the concepts of numbers and mathematics in general. I don't know if you can learn that in a single, "Did you know...?" sentence, but that's what I would choose.

I'm gonna have to say it is the jumping ability of the flea. Or anything about reptiles and amphibians. I don't know, it could be mammals. I just like nature too much.

the most interesting thing I learned is that when you treat people with respect and kindness, they give it back to you. And to answer Diane, I learned this message all by myself and Jesus had nothing to do with it.
