When you see something morphing, that can be a 4-D object passing through our 3-D world. Since we are a 3-D creature, we can only see the 3-D component of the 4-D object. However, we do have imagination, mathematics and computer technology to help us in visualizing the 4-D world.

So, is this 4-D object for real? Right now, we can only guess of its existence due to the effects (often unusual) it has on our 3-D world.

The fourth dimension is time, and movement is way the our brains see it. Our brains interpret the fourth demension as "movement".

Or another example, is the entire lifetime and activity of a human being from birth to death.

Yes, a 4 dimensional object is real. One example is the history and future of a company. From birth to death.

Visualizing the 4th demension is equivalent to predicting the future, instantaneously by visualizing it, but our brains cannot do this without some kind of aid.

A very clear, but unconventional example of 4th dimensional travel are the annual/quarterly balance sheets of a company.

Each balance sheet represents a snapshot in time of a company..a delta. If you can see what the balance sheet will look like in the future, you are effectively seeing the 4th dimension. Rich people are often able to do this, using good reasoning and logic. The predict the future of the company.

Take a look at the following annual report 4th dimensional "snapshots". If you can predict what the numbers will look like you are effectively "seeing" 4 dimensions:

the form horizon of a black hollow is two dimensional. As are the strings of string concept. in spite of the undeniable fact that a black hollow horizon may well be around, the horizon itself has 0 thickness. What poses an excellent greater complicated question is the situation of better dimensions. As intelligences we are conscious of four (the three spatial ones + time), even nevertheless, many scientists now have faith that's only the tip of the iceberg. a number of those greater advantageous-dimensions would functionality in hassle-free terms on the subatomic point, others would co-exist with the different 3 on the macro scale. One concept imagines that our entire universe could seem to be a 2 dimensional brane (or membrane) contained in the 5th measurement. We would all be extradimensional beings without realising it! yet our senses are needless to say in hassle-free terms designed to penetrate basically 3, with a passing understanding of the 4th (time). the different situation with 2dimensional gadgets is that element is a measurement. subsequently the 2dimensinal merchandise would desire to exist outdoors of time. in hassle-free terms black hollow horizons and in line with possibility strings would meet this requirement.

Modern physics deal with 7 and more dimensions -- this is the only way to explain some phenomena. Also, when it gets to quantum mechanics, objectiveness of choosing any number of dimensions to work with is somewhat blurred

4D is hypothetical and therefore we don't know if it exist or not. However, String Theory really predicts it.

It is true that our reality consists of 3D (excluding time), however, how do you know that there aren't higher realities or degrees of freedom?

However, even if they exist, we can never see them as a whole, but as 3D cross-sections. For example, a hypersphere entering our world would appear as a dot out of thin air and expand into a larger and larger sphere, and then contract again and later vanishing into nothingness.

Four dimentional object?

Never seen that before.

mmmmmm, let's see. There's height and width and depth - straight up, straight accross and straight in - hoizontal, vertical, and the bridges I burned behind me. Nope, I guess there's only three. (Or maybe weight? color? size? shape? position? time? purpose? origin? .....nah, there's just three) All the rest are mathmatical fudge factors invented to make sense of the equations - and not the real world.

According to string theory objects can be described in 11 dimensions. And yes the fourth is time.

Nope,
There's just length, width, and height.

LeAnne is right; give her the points.
