I have Prostate Cancer that has gone too far, I was told by my doctor that i would only last six months at maximum. I tried a chinese herbalist as a last resort. I still have cancer but it is two years since the doc told me I had 6 months to live. I get very cold on a hot day and i tire easily, but do you think the herbs are saving prolonging my life.

Has mercury been banned in thermometers, including cooking thermometers? If so, when?
How do you know if your thermometer has mercury?
My thermometer has red in the center of a glass tube? Is it mercury?
How do you safely dispose of these thermometers?
Thank you!

The device cannot be more than 6 inches by 6 inches and we cannot use any kind of parachute. The egg will be dropped about 20 feet. There are no conditions about what materials can be used.

Ever since we've been born (and before) people always trying to make us remember the 9 planets: Mercery, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. But now they spotted a new plantet- and it's 1.5 times colder than Pluto. They say it's as big as our moon. The one question i can't answer is why they named it after "Xena, the warrior princess" who look like a viking. Can anyone answer it? If u say "I don't know" then i will have to report you for not really answering my question.

I only enjoy snow on Christmas day. Other than that, I could do without the blizzards, ice, warming my car up, scraping my car, sliding, wearing a huge annoying coat, being cooped up, freezing wind.........I could go on. Who actually enjoys this?

Ok, maybe I should ask this question instead....Can I use tap water, table salt and baking soda for the crystal forming experiment for my 7 year old? It is not for school or anything so it doesnt matter what how it these things rather than epsome, distilled and washing soda, affect it JUST AS LONG AS WE CAN GROW SOME STUPID CRYSTALS LOL!!! He just loves crystals, thats all and I wanted to show him this experiment. I thought it would be much simpler than this lol!

The theory is that the only gene on the Y-chromosome that is known to be unique to that chromosome is the SRY gene--the gene that "turns on" maleness in a developing fetus. So if the SRY gene eventually migrates to another chromosome and the X chromosome no longer needs to pair with a Y chromosome to create a male child, would that child be considered a "non-human?"

Discuss.

I think the only explanation for this is the creaton account in Genesis. God created the moon to be the "lesser" light. It makes sense that God would put it on or close to the ecliptic.

It seems people are genuinely attracted to unnatural things. Makeup makes even young, healthy faces look more sexually appealing. Men are often attracted to women who are actually unhealthy because they are underweight. People are often sexually satisfied by acts that truly serve no procreational purpose.

I suppose if the answer is yes, the question becomes, "How is it that the human species evolved to be attracted to unnatural things?" From a biological standpoint, it doesn't add up. Help me understand!
