I only enjoy snow on Christmas day. Other than that, I could do without the blizzards, ice, warming my car up, scraping my car, sliding, wearing a huge annoying coat, being cooped up, freezing wind.........I could go on. Who actually enjoys this?

My favorite season is fall and spring. Summer being 3rd and winter being 4th.

For like two minutes I get excited about cute winter clothes and outerwear, and then I immediately hate it. And this year on Christmas there was no snow whatsoever, and actually it wasn't even that cold, even in New England. I wore a sweater out and was fine without a coat. So I was glad. . . . I hope it happens again!

I'm looking forward to winter because not only are ours relatively mild (like 35 at night) here in Texas, but I LOVE it when people catch colds!!! It gives me the right to say, "Ha-ha! You're catchin' a cold! Nanna-nanna-boo-boo!" when people sneeze. I absolutely love even the mere thought of the common cold! Just reading or thinking about it makes me smile! My favorite Rugrats episode was "All's Well that Pretends Well" cuz Angelica Pickles (preschool girl w/blond pigtails) has a cold (ah-hah) & my favorite Ginger (another cartoon like that) episode was "Kiss & Make-Up" cuz Carl Foutley (gradeschool boy w/parted red hair) has a cold (ah-hah)! I LOVE any show where people have colds/flu cuz I'm "Iris the Virus," aren't I? This winter my boyfriend Cyrus & I are gonna have a BLAST telling everybody we don't get colds like they do cuz our names rhyme w/virus, so the cold viruses revere us as 1 or their own thus refusing to infect us! I made a shirt for myself, forest green w/white iron-ons, that says, "I HAVE NEVER HAD A COLD IN MY LIFE!" on the back. But now that I've made 1 for Cyrus, we shall both wear ours over a white turtleneck w/jeans & Chuck Taylors (canvas sneakers), telling everybody:

If you name your babies SUE & LOU,
They'll probably never get the FLU,
But if you name them IRIS & CYRUS,
I KNOW they'll never get a VIRUS!!!

Why would anybody prefer hurricane season to a fun time like that? I hope there never is a cure for the common cold and that winter always comes because otherwise I'd have nothing to smile about, now would I? Besides, winter winds carry the train sound to my house & I LOVE A LOUD TRAIN WHISTLE!!! WOO-HOO!!!

I hate everything about winter. I wouldn't even care about no having snow at Christmas. I spent one Christmas in NC and the 60 degree temps were fine by me.
