it seems there is little hope of surviving on this planet in the long term.
We are a primitive species(witness our behaviour at soccer matches, or our wars in the name of religion) hell bent on destruction. Our existence seems pointless - there is no grand scheme of things so doing something for the ""greater good" is a waste of time.

Maybe the big bang repeats every 100 billion years. Everything into a big black hole, compacts, then another bang.

Scientific or other comments appreciated!

For example, are they allowed to get it from their own place of work, as long as say, a doctor allows the order and a fellow pharmacist fills it? Or do they have to go to an entirely different pharmacy altogether to avoid possible drug stealing claims or something to that effect?

If you had the power to undo Mankind's mistakes or accidents of history, which living thing would you bring back from the dead, based on:

(a) Likely future utility to the human race (somewhat ironically);
(b) Any reason that you like - e.g. 'I'd love to see a live dinosaur'?

Remember that plant species have become extinct too, in the course of our never-ending quest to screw up this planet.

(Just suspend disbelief for a while - don't rule out species that were eliminated by natural selection or normal evolution)

This point has never been made clear in the media and it is time to know the truth in order to make decisions about organ donation after death and indeed whether or not you consider yourself dead even though your heart is beating in the presence of a surgeon with a large scalpel.
