I'm talking about a fast acting plague. Think Stephen King's the Stand, or that book we all read in High School, Earth Abides. It seems to me when civiliation gets overpopulated, a disease wipes out a lot of people. I.E. The Bubonic Plague in the middle ages. What do ya think on this?

I know that the earliest form of evolution of humans have begun around 5 million years ago. But when early humans evolve, the early human species are extinct. They evolve into humans(which is us). And humans, which is called homo sapiens are the only one human species that are currently here, and all other human species go extinct.

Here is my question.......
In 1,000,000 years from now, will the current human species(us) still exist while there are any other more advanced forms of human species?

I am very curious of what humanity would be like in 1,000,000 A.D.
If at the futuristic time, I wonder if there could be any non-human species that could be more intelligent than us.

Couldnt we direct the hubble space telescope at the moon just for a fw minutes to see the left over debris or the famous flag they planted every time they went there or the housing left behind from the landers.

A monk has taken water from a lake and prayed over it. This has apparently changed the composition of the water molecules to make them better. What are the possible outcomes if this is true? Does nature have feelings that we never knew existed before?

The website about WMAP says that since light travels at finite speed then the far-away objects we see are actually much older. So, am I understanding this correctly? Do the scientists study the CMB radiationbecause it is the oldest thing left from the Big Bang? And how does measuring the temperature fluctuations help scientists learn more about how long ago it happened, etc. ?
Thank you, if this is a stupid question, I apologize in advance.

If the human race billions of years from now brought hydrogen from some distant source and fed it into the sun (I know it would have to be a lot), could they keep the sun "living" and continue to live on Earth longer than we predict at this point to be possible?
