There is no dark side of the moon...but there is a far side. And it generally looks like the side that faces us, though it doesn't have very many "seas" (large flat areas) on it. Here is a photo of it: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap981008.html

Cold Darkness The Shaded side of the Moon is very much like the Light side but 500 degrees colder that would be because the sunny side is 250 above zero and the dark side is 250 Below Zero , Also Scientists now Know that the Moon Actually came from the earth 4.6 billion years ago when the earth was hit by a ice comet the size of mars ( where all our oceans and water came from ) and it thew of gigatons of earth that came together and formed the moon that you see today .

I think you mean the far side of the Moon. The dark side is constantly changing, depending on the Moon's position relative to the Sun. NASA sent a satellite around the Moon and mapped the far side, while it was lit by the Sun. When you see a full Moon, the far side is dark. When you see a new (dark) Moon, the far side it illuminated by the Sun.
What is on the far side? More craters.

The moon doesn't have a "Dark Side."
The Moon rotates relative to the sun. Every spot on the moon sees the sun each rotation. When you're looking at a "New Moon," the so called "Dark Side" is in full sunlight.

Whatever you see on the brighter side of the moon. The moon is in itself rotating and all the portions are exposed to the brighter side and you get to see all portion. Only, when a space craft is sent to orbit the moon, when the space craft goes to the dark side of the moon, i.e. behind the moon, the signals are lost and you have to wait till the signals are picked up as and when the spacecraft emerges to the signal ling range.

Technically the dark side of the moon isn't a static location because the moon rotates around the sun.

Well, if the man's face in on the light side of the moon, then it would probably have to be his rear end on the dark side.

The same as what is on the light side. The dark side is just caused by a shadow.
