A monk has taken water from a lake and prayed over it. This has apparently changed the composition of the water molecules to make them better. What are the possible outcomes if this is true? Does nature have feelings that we never knew existed before?

As an amphibian can we dictate the molecular structure of water? The monk was able to do that.

Is not man part of nature?

Faith is fine, we are made in the image and likeness of our creator. Maybe we don't know the scope of the powers He has given us.

We use our souls to command our bodies and make them do what we want them to do; rather than what they want to do. Is this too commonplace a miracle for you? We are amphibians; right now we are only poking our heads out of the water once in a while; someday we will grow up and live on the land!

You're looking to the wrong being.

Science is all good and fine, but faith....in faith...in the Lord...ALL things are possible. Science cannot explain the ways of the Lord. Don't confuse the two, and for crying out loud, don't assign faith to the supernatural. That's evil, and that's not where you want to be thinking.

If you have enough faith....you can command any and every molecule on the planet if you so chose....as long as it is for the glory of the Lord Jesus.

If something affects nature then isn't it part of nature? If a thing has a measurable effect then it is part of nature. If it doesn't affect anything then it is inherently unobservable and we might as well pretend it doesn't exist.

So, I would say that the supernatural ("above-natural") isn't a worthy subject of study ... *by definition*.

I think that nature is supernatural in itself, and we should treat it as such.
